Meetings

MURP meets during the University semesters, which at Monash are from the start of March to the end of June, and from mid-July to the end of October.

Socially, the club spills out across the entire year, and into non-roleplaying events like day trips around Victoria, generic parties, movies and so on.

Gaming Nights

The central MURP event though, is the gaming nights. MURP meets to game every Thursday night, starting in the Clayton Campus Centre. People start showing up around 5 in the upstairs foyer to chat, eat and generally socialise. Gaming usually starts between 6.30pm and 7pm and goes through until about 10:00pm.

Where exactly? The club generally starts to collect in the upstairs Foyer area of the Campus Centre, and then moves off to whichever space we can book. In the last year or so, we've been booking space in the Law Library tute rooms.

Other Events

Over the years, MURP has hosted and attended hundreds of other events, roleplaying and not - The normal gaming nights have been supplemented by B-Grade video nights, Internal Tournaments and Conventions. In addition, MURP members do the normal party things, run a biannual camp at Mt Eliza, have a Christmas party, go to see movies, have at least one annual dinner, run midnight to dawn DarkZone sessions, go to the beach, and tonnes more.
