One of our members has been talking to a games company that is keen to find people to write for them. Here are their details.

Who?
Visionary Games is a new company that publishes fiction and roleplaying games aimed at the sophisticated gamer. We concentrate on the storytelling and roleplaying aspects of our games and are dedicated to exploring alternative mechanics and forms.
Our core staff is made up of the rising stars of gaming and fiction, including Paul Beakley, Deird'Re Brooks, Darrell Hardy, R.S. Martin, Timothy Toner and others.
What?
Our fiction collection New Visions contains stories of various genres, some related to our games and some that were just too good to pass by! Everyone on the core staff contributed stories.
Remembrance is the game of death and eternal love. The Tortured Soul struggles to fulfill his Promise to his True Love, or suffer in agony for all time. It is an "intimate" roleplaying and storytelling game, intended for two players only.
Billed as the post-modern game of urban fantasy, Urban Legends takes you on a journey to discover the origin of myths both ancient and modern. Walk the streets of the crossroads and find the myth within yourself. Urban Legends is "moderatorless," give your gamemaster the night off!
We have other projects in development, check out the project summary on our WWW page, or email us for more information!
Vision Quest is the quarterly journal of myths & legends, storytelling & roleplaying and is aimed at storytellers of all kinds, including but not restricted to gamers.
When?
New Visions is available in the paper (by mail order or at conventions) or online version (by WWW or ftp).
Remembrance and Urban Legends will soon be posted online for playtesting and will be available in the summer of 1995.

Why?
Because there are just too many companies in the industry publishing "the same old thing." Not trying something new and not trying to reach any audience but the lowest common denominator. We believe that there is a more mature audience out there. Mature does not mean interested only in so-called "mature themes," but also interested in new ways of roleplaying, more personal and creative ways of playing the games.
How?
Our Arcana system utilizes Tarot cards as a source of plot and character inspiration, and as a tool to influence the story. It is a flexible system that allows players to experiment with different ways of roleplaying, whether in a traditional GM and players group, or in smaller (2-player) or moderatorless formats. The Arcana system let's everyone involved take part in the telling of the tale. Players are actors and directors, characters and writers at the same time.
